The Buck'et League

Buck'et Up-18 Rules

A maximum of 3 players on a single board.

Buck'et Up-18 is the signature game of The Buck'et League.

Objective: Be the first player to finish a round with exactly 18 points.

 

Point Values:

  • Buck'et III = 3 points

  • Buck'et II = 2 points

  • Buck'et I = 1 point

* Every legally scored beanbag receives its full point value.

Gameplay:

  • Individual or team play.

  • A maximum of 3 individual players or 3 teams (6 players).

  • Each player alternate turns.

  • Each turn consists of four legal throws.

  • Scores are update after every completed round.

  • The leading scorer has the option to start the next round or defer to the next highest scorer.

Winning:

  • A player must finish with exactly 18 points.

  • If a player exceeds 18, their score becomes 15 at the beginning of the next turn.

  • Play continues until a player completes a round with exactly 18 points.

Tie Break:

  • If two or more players finish the same round with exactly 18 points, a Sudden Death round is played.

  • Each tied player throws one beanbag toward Buck'et III.

  • If only one player scores, that player wins.

Doubles:

  • Teammates share one score.

  • Each teammate throws two beanbags the team's turn.

  • All other Buck'et Up-18 rules remain in effect.

* Great Buck'et Up players manage their score as carefully as they manage their accuracy.
